Kerteminde Motorservice is a new startup. It was founded in 2018 by Claus Kronquist Jensen. Claus have lifelong experience working on both large and small motors. Which for the last 16 years have resulted in him traveling the world working for MAN-B&W.
At Kerteminde Motorservice we perform repairs, installations and maintains of both marine engines and industrial engines, As well as, of engines in the offshore industry. No job is to large or to small for us. That applies regardless of whether it is a fishing boat in Frederikshavn or a gas carrier in Portugal. We are there were the job is.
We can carry out many different tasks on marine engines. Such as overhaul and replacement, of the cylinder heads, bushings, pistons, turbocharger, intercoolers, pumps and crankshafts.
Kerteminde Motorservice have 24-hour service and stands ready to turn out at short notice worldwide. We are ready to assist in an accident, or with other damage on industry engines, as well as in offshore. We operate in the global market, with current projects in both Scandinavian and the rest of Europa. Your security is our many years of experience carrying out repairs worldwide.

Servicing and Inspections
Service is a matter of trust. Time is money, and it quickly becomes very expensive if unexpected problems to arise between the agreed inspections. Kerteminde Motorservice do not compromise, when we do our servicing. We inspect the whole project and recommends what should be done besides the ordinary servicing.
We carefully listen to the personnel who handles the daily operations, before beginning our inspection. During the servicing we are always make sure to do a thorough inspection, including the parts that normally are not visibly, such as the hydraulics. It is always cheaper to exercise timely care, and exchange a spare hart immediately, than have them fail and risk spending several days in harbor,
We always arrange with the client beforehand what should be inspected, and if other faults are discovered, we make sure the client is informed. That means that you, as the client always have full information, with which to make your decisions.
Appraising and Assessments
In many cases, when a damage occurs on a marine engine, gearbox or other mechanical fault, it is necessary to have an impartially assessment made. An impartially assessment, or appraiser, can determining which solution is the best, and how to implement it.
Kerteminde Motorservice are, with many years in the business, specialists in assess and evaluate damages. Regardless of whether it is a question of insurance, or if the client whishes to have an estimate over repairs and an assessment of how long it will take.
Afterwards, if it is the client whish too, Kerterminde Motorservice can come in and solve the problem with the job. We have the expertise, and already maintain contact with all relevant suppliers, and can do the job within the agreed timeframe.
